Ahmed Almahi

In 1978, Mr. Ahmed received his bachelor's degree in law from the University of Khartoum in Sudan. He passed the Sudan Bar Exam that same year. He was appointed as a judge from 1979 to 1990 in the Judiciary of Sudan. Ahmed was promoted to a second-class judge, President of Judicial Council, and first-class judge. Mr. Ahmed established his own law firm in Sudan in 1990, where he worked as an Advocate, Legal Adviser, and Oath Commissioner.

Ahmed decided to work in the United Arab Emirates and started his career in three different law offices in 2007, where he worked as a Legal Consultant until 2015. From 2015 until 2019, he worked in the Ministry of Legal Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman, where his responsibilities included reviewing, forming, and reforming government contracts such as construction, EPC, civil engineering consultancy contracts, and tenders, variation orders related thereto, as well as oil and natural gas agreements.

Mr. Ahmed returned to the UAE in 2019 and joined Al Gharib Law Firm as a Legal Consultant. He provides legal assistance to our clients and drafts litigation and arbitration memorandums, contracts, and agreements.
An experienced legal consultant with accumulated experience in the field of litigation and arbitration. The scope of practical experience included drafting and reviewing legal texts and paperwork for the government and private sectors, in addition to offering legal opinions. Additionally, has solid experience putting policies and procedures into practice, as well as practical managerial competencies.
